“SERVING VICTIMS, BUILDING TRUST, RESTORING HOPE” IS THEME FOR 2016 NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS’ RIGHTS WEEK

Sunday, April 10, 2016, marks the start of National Crime Victims’ Rights week.

This year’s theme, “Serving Victims, Building Trust, Restoring Hope,” underscores the importance of early intervention and victim services to support and empower victims and provide a pathway to recovery from crime and abuse.

The McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office reaffirms its commitment to creating a victim service and criminal justice response that assists all victims of crime throughout the year.

We express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for those community members, victim service providers, and criminal justice professionals who are committed to improving our response to all victims of crime so that they may find relevant assistance, support, justice, and peace.
